What We Are Currently Doing
Life at Moss
A 6-week program teaching life skills for life after incarceration.
We teach Life Skills at our local York County Jail
LIFE skills are Torah based principles for living the life God intended for us. We clear up our false thinking and gods to become seekers of The One True God & His Good Plan For Us. The ladies are in our Life Skills Class for 6 weeks. They are also assigned a mentor who writes and encourages them. Other volunteers come to teach resume classes, interview skills, budgeting, goal setting and we also have a guest speaker give their testimony for the ladies’ inspiration. When the women are released from the county we make sure to stay connected and assist them with transitioning back to life. If they are sentenced to prison we continue to mentor & encourage them through their time.
